About Lisa
Do you like to read and write? Is eating your least favorite food more appealing than sitting and reading or writing? I am here to take that pain away. I have taught elementary students through doctoral candidates how to read for meaning and how to write academically. I have over 30 years of teaching experience in Reading and Language Arts. I can break down the skill areas and build them back so that you know how to read and write well.

I have been a public school English Language Arts teacher in the K-12 arena for, yikes, many years and work for a University helping doctoral students. Additionally, I am Nationally certified in English Language Art. When I was a kid I struggled to read and understand text no less write a comprehensible essay.
